The Scoil An Spioraid Naoimh (Boys) Parents’ Association is delighted to announce a Book Swap at Bishopstown GAA Club on Saturday February 7th next. All parents and children are invited to swap books they have already read for the once loved books of others. The event will run from 11.30 – 2pm and all are welcome! It is expected that the event will provide an easy means for people of all ages to re-stock their bookshelves whilst serving as a useful fundraising initiative for the Parents’ Association. Entry is €5 per child and €10 for adults (with books!). Up to 5 books can be swapped on the day. It is hoped that the event will be greatly supported by all. Complimentary tea and coffee will be served on the day.
Should anyone not be in a position to attend but wish to donate books to the event, we would be delighted to receive them to boost the stock of choices for young and old on the day. These books can be collected from you or alternatively dropped into the school prior to the event. Collection boxes will be maintained at the back of the halla next week.
