Today Ireland’s top female marathon runner Aoife Cooke visited the school and spoke to the pupils. She recently ran the Dublin City marathon in a time 2 hrs and 32 minutes which is Olympic qualification time. Aoife comes from Youghal and she told the lads she is off to Kenya to train. We wish her every success for the future.
